Whitbread Golding: developed through grower selection circa 1911, Whitbread Golding (WGV) is not a true Golding. It displays many similar characteristics but has more robust and slightly sweet, hoppy flavor.

Aroma: specific aroma descriptors include fresh earthy, botanical, floral and sweet fruit flavors.

Style Guide: Ale, Pale Ale, Bitter.

Substitutes: East Kent Golding, Progress.
