Nelson Sauvin: Developed by New Zealand's Plant & Food Research and released in 2000. It's a triploid variety bred from the New Zealand variety "Smoothcone" and a selected New Zealand male. This unique variety can be used to create subtle aroma driven lagers as well as strong flavoured ales.
